All valuations are thoroughly researched, reference is made to comparable sales, valuations are fully discussed with the client and are presented in an acceptable format by your RICS Registered Valuer.

The RICS Home Survey - Level 1

This valuation is suitable for modern conventional homes in reasonable condition. It provides a visual inspection with 'traffic light' ratings for different parts of the property, highlighting issues with varying degrees of concern. The report includes a summary of risks, an assessment of defect importance, but no tests are conducted on building fabric or services. The RICS Home Survey – Level 2

Choose this report for in-depth information when buying or selling a standard home. It includes a thorough visual inspection of the property's main elements, excluding tests. Concealed areas are inspected if safe. The report objectively describes the condition and assesses defect importance. Request the detailed 'Description of the RICS Home Survey Level 2 ' document from your surveyor.

RICS Home Survey - Level 3

Choose this report if it is a large, old, historic or run-down property, a building that is of unusual construction, extensively altered, or if you’re planning major works. The service includes a thorough visual inspection, even of concealed areas if safe, and observation of services in normal operation. The report objectively describes construction and materials, assesses defect importance, identifies potential hidden defects, proposes causes and remedial work, and offers general recommendations. The surveyor may estimate repair costs if agreed upon.
